August is the peak month of typhoon and rain. It rains very often during the month of August, especially in the mornings. It is warm in August in Sapa while it is quite hot in other places in the northern Vietnam. The average temperature in Sapa is around 19 degree C while it is about 32 – 35 in Hanoi.
