Muong Hoa valley Tour Hiking Cat Cat Y Linh Ho Lao Hang Chai Tavan Giang Tu Chai Hoa Su Pan Villages


Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho (L,D)

9:00: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa. We begin our hiking trip by walking through fruit gardens and vegetable farms to the southern end of Cat Cat village. After a short visit of the village, we continue hiking up and downhill for over 4 hours through part of Hoang Lien National Park covered by thick bamboo and rain forest. We will pass by several isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong.

We arrive to Y Linh Ho village in mid afternoon. We may have time for a short walking tour before we check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai San – Lao Hang Chai – Giang Ta Van– Ta Van(B,L,D)

After breakfast, we will leave Y Linh Ho village at about 08.30 am. We follow a large dirt path going uphill to Lao Chai San 2 and Lao Chai San 1 villages of the H’mong. 

We then hike up and downhill along a narrow dirt trail to Lao Hang Chai of the H’mong. We will have a short visit of this village before we continue trekking for 2 more hours through the thick rain forest. 

We will have lunch before descending to Giang Ta Van village and then onto Ta Van village of the Giay. Both villages are located near the beautiful Muong Hoa River. 

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Tu Chai – Hoa Su Pan – Sapa (B,L,)

After breakfast, we will leave the village at about 9:00. The trail goes uphill and then sneaks its way on the high hill-side amidst terraced rice paddies. We trek for 1,5 hour before we arrive in the bamboo forest. 

We have a short visit of the Giang Ta Chai village, a hamlet of the H’mong. The we descend for nearly another hour to the Waterfall. 

Lunch and relax.

After lunch, we continue trekking on a large dirt path to Giang Tu Chai village of the Red Zao. We spend an hour visiting the village. We talk with local villagers for understanding of their unique way of living.

Leaving Giang Tu Chai village, we follow a narrow trail going down and uphill to Hoa Su Pan village. You will have the opportunity to see different process of making the fiber from hemp such as spinning, weaving or embroidering…

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.
