It is dry in the early days of the month but it starts being wet in late December. It is sometimes foggy. The every temperature is 8 – 10 degree C. It can be lower when the monsoon comes. August is the peak month of typhoon and rain in the northern Vietnam. It rains very often during the month of August, especially in the mornings.
